By combining free daily wage access with built-in auto-budgeting, Reset enables banks and credit unions to boost customer financial health while driving significantly higher revenue and asset yields. Since the program, Reset has raised a $2.3M pre-seed round, signed a 5-year partnership with Visa through its Fintech Fast Track program, and achieved near-zero loss rates with its flagship credit union partner. Additional milestones include a new partnership reaching 17 million renters and acceptance into the Curql Fintech Accelerator—solidifying Reset’s position as a leader in inclusive financial innovation.

  • Kelly Redmond and Gabbriella Dweck — Oleo Sustainable Palm Oil Solutions

    (2023 Cohort)

Stanford Emergence Accelerator alums Kelly and Gabbriella Dweck are pioneering sustainable oil innovation through Oleo SPOS, a company transforming biomass waste into high-quality oils for use in everything from personal care to aviation fuel. With patent-pending technology developed at Stanford, Oleo stands out for its efficiency and cost competitiveness in commodity markets. Since the program, the team has raised $1.6 million, launched five waste valorization pilots with corporate and government partners, and begun producing its oil product at lab scale—laying the groundwork for a $5M seed round in 2026 and new partnerships in the consumer goods and energy sectors.

  • Christopher Knight  — Understory

    (2023 Cohort)

Since graduating from the Stanford Emergence Accelerator, the Understory team has launched a cutting-edge platform that transforms drone and satellite imagery into detailed biodiversity intelligence. Their AI-powered system maps plant species, land cover, and ecosystem change—empowering smarter decisions in conservation, climate resilience, and land management. Understory has deployed its technology across five diverse ecosystems, is actively piloting with top environmental consultants and utility providers and has raised $1.6M in non-dilutive funding. Backed by programs including Google for Startups: Climate Change and the NSF SBIR Phases I & II, Understory is rapidly becoming a key player in the future of ecological insight.

  • Yi Zhang — MedHug

    (2023 Cohort)

MedHug, a Stanford Emergence Accelerator alum, is tackling one of healthcare’s biggest pain points: prescription access. Their platform helps healthcare providers quickly navigate insurance coverage, making it easier for patients to afford the medications they need. Now a daily tool in nearly 50 clinics nationwide—including major medical centers like Johns Hopkins, Ohio State, and Stanford, as well as rural clinics from Maine to Hawaii — MedHug is streamlining care and closing the gap between prescriptions and access across the U.S.

  • Dawn Androphy — Allswell

    (2024 Cohort)

Since completing the Stanford Emergence Accelerator, Dawn Androphy has launched Allswell, a tech-enabled mental-health platform delivering affirming, community-based therapy for LGBTQ+ adults. Allswell built a nationwide-ready PC/MSO structure, went live in Maryland with Medicaid and UnitedHealthcare coverage (processing its first reimbursements), and ran a California pilot where 90 % of participants saw reduced depression symptoms. The team has also rolled out a full end-to-end care stack—patient and provider portals, insurance infrastructure, and AI-supported tools—positioning Allswell to scale compassionate, evidence-based care across the country.

  • Alex Powers – Flex Therapeutics

    (2024 Cohort)

Flex Therapeutics, a Stanford spin-out and Emergence Accelerator alum, is developing safer, more accessible treatments for chronic pain and migraine using cutting-edge computational drug discovery. Their platform designs highly selective small molecules that target cryptic protein pockets—offering an alternative to high-cost antibody therapies with fewer side effects. Flex’s lead program, based on a molecule and cryptic pocket discovered at Stanford, was recently featured in Nature and covered by Stanford News and National Geographic. The team has raised $200K through angel support and competition awards, including winning the NFX FAST Startup Competition at Stanford.

  • Sofie Roux — BloomBox Design Labs

    (2024 Cohort)

Sofie Roux, a Stanford Emergence Accelerator alum, is advancing equitable STEAM education and sustainable energy access through BloomBox Design Labs. Since completing the program, Sofie secured full patent status for BloomBox’s retractable solar roof system in four countries, launched the SuperBloom global knowledge network app, and was invited to become an official Starlink partner—strengthening BloomBox’s mission to deliver sun-powered learning to communities everywhere.

  • Joseph Kao — Magnefy

    (2024 Cohort)

Magnefy, a Stanford spin-out and Emergence Accelerator alum, is transforming power infrastructure monitoring with an edge AI-enabled magnetic sensing platform. Their $500 non-invasive IoT device delivers 250× more high-frequency, low-noise data than traditional systems—detecting failures like partial discharge and harmonic distortion weeks in advance, and at a fraction of the cost. Since the program, Magnefy has signed MOUs with transformer OEMs Prolec GE and AYR Energy, and secured 8 LOIs from industry leaders including Meta, Siemens Energy, and Key Capture Energy—positioning the company to redefine predictive maintenance for mission-critical power assets.
